“Blessed are the curious, for they shall have adventures.” ~ Lovelle Drachman Take a look: • Providing administrative support, including answering phones and greeting guests • Booking travel reservations for the client and managing their itinerary • Coordinating with tour guides, local guides, drivers, and other support staff to ensure smooth operation of the trip • Collecting payments from clients and handling incidental cash transactions during the trip • Serving as a liaison between the client and travel company, handling issues that arise during travel • Updating the client’s contact list with names, phone numbers, and email addresses of all individuals who will be part of the trip • Arranging for transfers between airports, hotels, cruise ships, etc. • Resolving complaints made by the client or staff members of the travel company Let me take the hassle out of planning. A travel assistant is a person who has full knowledge of tourist product – destinations, modes of travel, climate, accommodation, and other areas of the service sector.
